New Stop Signs on Wildcat Lake Drive

The corner of Wildcat Lake Drive and Wildcat Lake Falls Lane has now become a 3 way stop with the addition of two new stop signs. We have had speeding problem on Wildcat Lake Drive and this is the first step in slowing down traffic on this street. The next step will be adding speed hump in the roads. The stop signs will give the police the authority to ticket speeders for running the stop sign. The police will be sitting in the driveways of homes looking for people who run the stop sign at different times during the day.

County Requested Work Completed

The county inspected our lake in February, and had 5 issues, none of which were big. We were able to find a reasonable contractor to take care of the county issues, as well as some other issues like the drainage ditch that runs parallel to Wildcat Lake Drive. We still have some silt fence to remove from the walking trail, which will be removed soon.

ACC Committee Update

The ACC would like to inform our members & neighbors that the Wildcat Lake HOA ACC will be strongly enforcing our lawn care, yard, and basketball hoop & satellite dish rules. All members must mow their lawn at least every 10 days during the growing season. A "weedy" lawn is a violation. Front yard bushes must be neatly trimmed; they cannot grow higher than the middle of the front window. Trees on front lawn are OK to grow over the middle of front window. All satellite dishes must be moved to not be seen from the street in front of their home. Mail boxes are also going to become a top priority.

The ACC has a new committee this year. See the Committees page for a list of members. The committee is made up of volunteers trying to keep the value of our homes increasing, which is needed now more than ever. Please remember that when you speak to them!

New Design Standards

The new design standards can be found on the website in the Legal Documents area.

The board has put a lot of work in posting the information on the web site. Please refer to it first, then contact a board member before complaining.

In addition, all complaints, suggestions, and problems of any kind need to be submitted in writing before any actions are taken to resolve the issue. Verbal conversation with a board member is often forgotten about and not resolved in a timely manner. The board is currently meeting once a month and will meet every two months in the second portion of the year. You can use the Feedback form to submit your feedback via the Internet.
